Appointment reminders are changing

Guthrie is now using a new tool called WELL Health to notify you about upcoming appointments. You will notice a few changes in how we communicate with you.

Effective August 30, any patient who has chosen text messaging for appointment reminders will receive these reminders only by text and will no longer receive phone calls or emails. The text messages will come from phone numbers that begin with (570) 623-XXXX.

Patients who have not selected text messaging as their contact method preference will continue to receive phone calls and/or email appointment reminders.

This change applies only to communications about appointments. 

If you would like to change how we remind you about upcoming appointments, log in to your eGuthrie account and choose Communications Preferences under Account Settings in the main menu. You can then click on the email, text, phone and mail icons to add or remove them as communications options.
